I am always charmed by the antique lace curtains in Paris windows. I see them regularly when walking around the city. I captured this one while walking to work today. The Hausmanienne building in the window’s reflection adds the needed dimension to the photo. This about captures the essence of why I never get tired of discovering another street in Paris.
Of course you realise the embroidery was all done by hand. I can just imagine the lady who created her lace embraced window with love and attention to each and every detail…….pretty as a picture to me.
I would love to publish a book on Parisienne Windows. Ah, the wonders I could portray!!!
Enjoy your sunday.
