A Skirt and a Dog

So bet you are wondering what this title means, right!!! Nothing, absolutely nothing.

‘Cept today I felt like wearing a skirt…….sound the trumpets and call it a national holiday. Yes, I can actually do this. Wear a skirt that is…….and walk a dog at the same time. Who would have ever thought it!!!

What is the big deal? For me, this is getting out of my Comfort Zone. Doesn’t take much you are saying? Except when you are a 7/7 pants and mostly jeans girl, this is a big deal. Sorry to be such a poor example of womanhood, but as my grandmother would have said, “I am kinda set in my ways”.

Next issue is the DOG……Djano once again. Remember? My daughter, India just purchased this beauty of a golden retriever some 3 months ago. I have grown accustomed to his face……..in fact, I am totally enamored. So, when Django is available, I let him take me for a walk. Yes, that it is the way it goes. Whatever, Django wants, Django gets.

Vintage skirt by La Prestic Ouiston…….printed silk featuring dancers and DO NOTICE, the waist band in contrasting leopard print. Going crazy, right? All jokes aside, it is a fun detail.

Light grey V neck cashmere cardie wrapped nonchalantly around waist (notice the wry sense of humor in my writing)……..Crimson

Silver metalic Tropezienne sandals………Rondini………St. Tropez is probably wondering where I have been……as I have not been in two years. DO NOT ASK!!! Something about my ex with his new girlfriend…..nah, let’s not go there.

White oversized shirt with hand embroidered initials……….Crimson………made to order if you want one, ladies!!! A beauty of a shirt if I do say so myself. I designed the dang thang!!!

Tres vintage Goyard bag……Talking really tired and maybe should throw it in the garbage type vintage.

What do you think about my hair in a chignon? Yes…….no…….. you don’t care………..Whatever!!! I got ya.

So, girls, do yourselves a favor and branch on out……..throw caution to the wind…….try something different today. Who knows……..you might like it. Just for a day, anyway.
